Bike Marking event held at ABBEY LANE PARK E15

Hello Stratford, 

Your local SNT, supported by officers from the neighbouring West Ham SNT have been holding a bike marking event at ABBEY LANE PARK E15 today. 

Whilst there we was able to advise people on how best to protect their bikes and other property. We also marked up bikes with UV pens and showed residents how we utilise this when looking for stolen bikes. We also showed people how they can register their bikes for free on national property registers. Again another tool the police use to find stolen bikes.

Officers also patrolled around the local area looking at the bike storage units and handing out advice leaflets to ensure that people know how to securely store their bikes.
